The objective of this articulated Masters' Programme is to produce high quality graduates with advanced knowledge and skills in Computer Science at the Master's degree level, who can apply such knowledge and skill to:

Engineer innovative IT solutions for modern business and industry environments

Utilize IT strategic planning know-how in enterprises that utilize large scale IT applications

Provide expertise in the deployment of IT strategies

Undertake research and development in IT for industry and business enterprises.

During this programme students study, employ and reflect on the principles underpinning computer science. Computer languages, Enterprise Software Engineering Development, Patterns & Frameworks, Data Mining, Data Warehousing, Web engineering, Software Engineering Management, Clouds, Grids & Virtualisation and Mobile Application Development, are key areas of focus within this programme of study.

The degree is designed to impart knowledge of current and emerging developments in IT as well as to provide an in-depth knowledge in advanced topics on Computer Science to master the challenges of information driven economy. The programme leads students to reflect on the choice of appropriate software tools and techniques through the study of realistic industrial case studies.
