Studying Art & Design

The field of Art & Design covers a wide variety of subject material and institutes in Sri Lanka allow you to pursue the path you want. A number of colleges offer qualifications in fashion design, interior architecture, graphic design, music, photography and more. For most people in this field, a degree and a quality portfolio are adequate to begin a healthy career.
You may choose the Arts stream from the A-Level stage, or pursue one of the many diploma-level qualifications that are more career-specific. At a higher level, you can pursue a Bachelor’s degree or similar qualification over a wide range of subjects, most of which will involve the creation and assessment of your professional portfolio of work.
