Brandix College of Clothing Technology
Overview
The Brandix College of Clothing Technology (BCCT) has been offering pioneering clothing technology courses since 1996, under the aegis of the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka. The excellent, tailor-made training facilities produce textile and apparel technocrats, enhancing core competencies across the Group.
Strategic differentiation through focused training in a dynamic industry is one of the key contributions that BCCT has made throughout the Brandix Group, helping it to grow and achieve increasingly important milestones. The vocational training improves the value addition process by upgrading the knowledge base of employees from grass roots level through to junior and middle level management; aligning all associates with both customers' needs and corporate targets.
Affiliated Degree Course
The Brandix College of Clothing Technology also runs a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree programme in collaboration with the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University, one of the oldest and most respected in Australia. This comprehensive course is designed to give school leavers an excellent foundation for fast progress in this vibrant and exclusive industry. The first two years of the degree course incorporate IT elements which are run by Microsoft; a recognised partner who adds more weight to the value of the programme. Experienced and part-qualified apparel professionals also have the opportunity to apply through a fast track route that exempts them from sections of the course. Flexibility of the course structure allows students to earn while learning.
