About Us

The Gateway Graduate School was founded in 2008, keeping in line with the vision of the renowned educationist Mr. R.I.T Alles, Chairman of the Gateway Group, in order to provide the opportunity to students to complete industrial recognized degrees and diplomas, at an affordable price in Sri Lanka or transfer reputed foreign universities. Deputy Chairman of the Gateway Group, Dr. Harsha Alles, initiated their recent affiliations with the University of Nottingham, Malaysia campus and the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, which widen the scope for students to complete the Foundation year and/or the first year of study in Sri Lanka and complete the degree in highly ranked universities.

Gateway, Sri Lanka's leading educational organization has started to make important strides in tertiary education through its higher education institution, Gateway Graduate School. Gateway Graduate School in partnership with NCC education UK, offers a choice of two career pathways to complete Degrees in Business or Computing in Sri Lanka. In both Degrees, students are able to receive industrial recognized qualifications – Diplomas and Advanced Diplomas, from NCC education UK on successful completion of the first and the second years. Students have the option of completing the full programme in Sri Lanka or transferring to overseas universities in UK, Malaysia, New Zealand or Australia at the end of every academic year. An additional International Foundation Programme is available for students who wish to join after Sri Lankan or London O/L. In addition, the Graduate School offers the Edexcel Professional Diploma in Teaching, Edexcel Professional Diploma in Advanced Teachingfor those who aspire to enhance their pedagogical skills.Plans are already afoot to provide an articulation pathway to the Diploma holders, to complete an MA in Education in Sri Lanka, awarded and delivered by the University of Nottingham.

The organization is very much committed to developing standards of education at all levels. To meet this end, in our own organizations we invest heavily in teacher training for our permanent cadre which exceeds 800 teachers.
