Vocational Training

In some cases, students may not wish to sit through the long process of obtaining a degree and opt for vocational training before seeking employment, including course-based curricula and apprenticeship. The National Vocational Qualifications Systems in Sri Lanka (NVQSL) provides seven structured levels of qualifications from Level 1 to Level 7. Vocational education and training in Sri Lanka is managed by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission of the Ministry of Vocational & Technical Training.
