The study of International Relations is characterized by a sense of pluralism; it is an arena of debate between competing theoretical perspectives. The discipline encourages critical engagement with global policy challenges and seeks answers to pressing issues in international politics today. This degree programme is for those, who wish to engage critically with the range of materials about contemporary international relations, perhaps those from other subject areas, such as economics or law and who need to be equipped with sufficient knowledge of international relations to enable them to understand the international dimensions of their own chosen fields.
