Course Details :   Programme Overview

This is an exciting programme that takes you to the heart of business. By employing a practical approach and setting you the task of running your own business in each of the three years, you will learn to thrive as a professional decision-maker or as an entrepreneur in the business world. You will have a sound foundation required to build an entrepreneurial career, in any area of business.

Program Structure

In the first two years, Business Management degree students follow a common programme, which provides a strong grounding in the principles of modern business management and examines entrepreneurship, enterprise and their importance and value in the modern economy.

In the third year Enterprise students take a range of specialist Enterprise courses such as Innovation Management, Strategic Management and Managing Corporate value. This specialisation allows students to tailor their degree to meet their career needs and aspirations.

BBA(Enterprise) is a 3 year full-time degree. This program comprises of lectures research projects, individual/ group presentations, tutorials and group discussions. After the first 2 years of the degree you will be awarded a Higher National Diploma from the Scottish Qualification Authority. At the end of 3 years you will be awarded BBA (Enterprise) from the Heriot-Watt University.

- 3 passes from G.C.E A/L

- 5 passes from G.C.E O/L including Maths and English
